Stellantis and Applied Intuition have announced the expansion of their strategic technology partnership, leveraging the collaboration already started on STLA SmartCockpit. The goal is to support the development of the next generation of Stellantis’ intelligent software platform STLA Brain, thus extending the joint interaction from the domain of in-car software experience to the vehicle’s central software. In this way, the two companies consolidate a working base built over time, where the affinity between software development skills and advanced simulation tools has already contributed to improving user experiences inside the cabin.

Stellantis and Applied Intuition expand the collaboration
The agreement, based on the solid foundations of the collaboration on STLA SmartCockpit, expands the scope towards STLA Brain with concrete objectives: accelerating development, enhancing validation, and making implementation in vehicle programs more efficient. STLA Brain is the software platform designed to simplify system integration and promote continuous improvement throughout the entire vehicle lifecycle. In this context, the evolution of the partnership aims to increase the ability to bring new features faster, while improving the overall quality of the onboard experience over time.
Central software
Applied Intuition will support software development, simulation, validation, and implementation in the vehicle’s main systems, also contributing through Vehicle OS, an AI-defined base designed to reduce development cycles and improve time-to-market. “Speed, scalability, and quality are fundamental to bring new technologies to our vehicles”, said Ned Curic, Chief Engineering and Technology Officer of Stellantis.
