Vasseur applauds Mercedes
One of the themes of the first two days of the Canadian Grand Prix was the internal duel between the Mercedes of George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli, which took place in the Saturday Sprint race.
Canal + asked Frederic Vasseur, Ferrari team principal, for his opinion on managing such a heated battle between drivers of the same team.

Vasseur responded with a joke: “This is Toto’s job, not mine. Surely it’s a rich man’s problem, because it’s nice to fight for the top two positions. But it still remains a complicated situation because both are competitive. This kind of situation can happen in any team. And it has happened to us in all teams. Drivers are also there to get results and often performances come from these rivalries. You can’t go against that. They handled it very well.”
