Renault is back in the spotlight with a “from the heart” collaboration that combines speed, creativity, and the magic of bricks. The diamond-shaped car manufacturer is supporting the LEGO version created by a fan of the spectacular Renault 5 Turbo 3E and invites the public to help turn it into an official LEGO set. The model was born from the idea of Dave Collins, known on Instagram as “devonbricks,” a British designer from the LEGO fan community, who enthusiastically shapes in miniature the most extreme production car ever made in the renowned history of the Renault 5.
Renault “sponsors” a LEGO project
Designed by the designer, the creation comes to life with about 1,200 pieces and almost one hundred hours of work, surprisingly capturing the stance, aggressive proportions, and unmistakable profile of the new 5 Turbo 3E. This 100% electric 555 HP mini-supercar, limited in production, already represents one of the boldest expressions of the current diamond range. Now, the goal is to make the same energy accessible to LEGO enthusiasts as well, turning a modern design icon into a collectible and buildable object.

At least 10,000 signatures are needed
The project has been published on LEGO Ideas and, to move to the next phase, it needs 10,000 supporters. Renault therefore launches an appeal to fans of the brand, whether connected to the original Renault 5, the new model, or the LEGO world, to support the proposal and help bring the idea to life. At the heart of the initiative is precisely the dialogue between nostalgia and reinterpretation: the 1980s 5 Turbo left a deep mark, while the new 5 Turbo 3E revives its spirit for the new generation.
