Leapmotor has announced a new software update Over‑The‑Air (OTA) dedicated to the B10 model, available just six months after the vehicle’s official debut. The release confirms the Chinese manufacturer’s commitment to ensuring a software evolution that is continuous and significant without the need for workshop interventions: customers will receive an on-board notification as soon as the update is available and can install it immediately via the vehicle’s interface.

Leapmotor B10 updates its software
The rollout began in early February and distribution is underway across the entire B10 range. In detail, the release introduces a package of new features designed to increase comfort, connectivity, and safety. Key innovations include One‑Pedal driving, native support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (both wired and wireless), and expanded voice commands. The One‑Pedal mode utilizes improved energy recovery logic to allow control of most acceleration and deceleration with just the accelerator pedal, offering smoother control and greater efficiency.

One-Pedal driving news
On the connectivity and infotainment front, a new split-screen layout for navigation, a “Quick Start” pre-loading function for faster startups, and a series of optimizations for the occupant detection reminder have also been introduced. Additionally, the update includes refinements to the interface and driver assistance functions. In this regard, drivers can customize the multi-function steering wheel buttons with shortcuts for ADAS and driving modes. Finally, ACC and LCC have been calibrated to ensure smoother deceleration when approaching curves.
