The RB22 at the moment is a disaster in the corners and it is therefore a matter of chassis, suspension, mechanics, in general of the car that geological eras are lost compared to the opponents. Max Verstappen struggled all Friday, even going wide at the last corner at the end of SQ1.

“The whole day was a disaster – declared a dejected Verstappen who expressed all his dismay over the radio regarding the behavior of the RB22 – we have no grip, I think that is the main problem. There is no grip, there is no balance. We are simply losing a lot of time in the corners. And obviously, for this very reason, other small problems start to emerge. But the main problem for us is that in the corners we are completely lost. If we can change something ahead of the Sprint? I really don’t know at the moment what we can do. We’ll see.”
