The return of Iannone
Andrea Iannone puts on his helmet and suit again. The rider from Vasto joins the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup: starting from the Mugello round (May 29-31) he will race with Niti Racing, where he will team up with Oscar Gutiérrez (winner in Race-2 at the opening event in Austin) and Dimas Ekky Pratama.

Iannone, who has victories in MotoGP and Superbike, brings very important experience to the championship, and faces this new challenge with enthusiasm.
Words from Iannone
“I like challenges, especially when they take you out of your comfort zone,” commented The Maniac. “This is something completely different, and that’s exactly why I said yes. I’m really excited to start this new chapter, as I have always admired Harley-Davidson. It’s a category that embodies adrenaline, spectacle, and a genuine passion for riding and for life. These bikes have a strong personality, you have to respect them, but at the same time you can push them to the limit. In this sense, we are quite similar, and I think that’s why this project fits me perfectly. Mugello is the perfect place to start, in front of the fans and on a track I know very well. I’m not here just to participate: I want to understand the bike immediately and be competitive right away.”

“After a very positive start to the season in Austin, adding Andrea to our team is a natural step to continue on this path,” added Angela Khuu, Niti Racing team manager. “We already have a solid base with Oscar and Dimas, and the arrival of a rider with Andrea’s experience and speed gives us a greater dimension. We are excited to see how quickly he will adapt to the bike and to start working together already at Mugello.”
