Ferrari is paving the way for its first fully electric car, but does not forget about other powertrains. Words from Benedetto Vigna, CEO of the Maranello company, who during the shareholders’ meeting in Amsterdam reiterated once again the company’s intention to focus on different technologies in the future. “In the sports car segment, we will continue to protect exclusivity through the horizontal diversification of the range, with an average of four new models per year between 2026 and 2030, which will include internal combustion engines, hybrids, and electric vehicles”, he explained.

Ferrari Luce opens a new era
Clearly, however, the focus is now on Luce, the brand’s first EV. “This model opens a new chapter in our history and is, once again, a statement of what a Ferrari can be, while remaining deeply rooted in the brand’s identity and values”, explained Vigna. He praised the importance of this car in the Prancing Horse’s range: “For this reason, it deserved an unprecedented presentation in three phases. A journey of discovery that will culminate on May 25 in Rome with the world premiere.”

Many more models coming
But as mentioned, Ferrari is not just Luce. “During the year we will strengthen our product offering with another four launches, including the Amalfi Spider, presented last month. This incredible range guarantees our customers the utmost freedom of choice,” added Vigna. And he concluded: “Being close to our Ferrari owners has also pushed us to redefine our regional strategy, with a renewed commitment towards promising markets such as India“.
