Welcome back, dear readers of FormulaPassion.it. We are live to tell you about the second free practice of the Belgian GP F1 weekend, which starts at 17:00 Italian time and ends at 18:00, as usual exactly one hour later. After the first session of learning and getting used to the challenges of the sacred monster of Spa, now the drivers and teams will, as usual, be engaged in the first real qualifying simulations and long runs to evaluate race pace and tire degradation with a decent fuel load.

In the first free practice, the fastest was Max Verstappen, skilled at setting the best time with Soft tires but also always staying at the top positions even with Mediums, and this despite the debated lack of the so-called “Macarana” movable rear wing. Behind him are the two Ferraris, with Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc within two tenths of a gap, while to find the Mercedes, perhaps too bad to be true, we have to go down to sixth place of Andrea Kimi Antonelli and eighth of George Russell.
