AutoLOOP opens the doors to EV batteries

The Future is NEUTRAL is expanding its digital offering by extending AutoLOOP, the platform launched by the company and operational from the beginning of 2025 for the collection of recycled materials such as polypropylene, copper, platinoids, and aluminum, also to the management of electric vehicle traction batteries. This evolution responds to the growing need to correctly treat components containing strategic metals such as lithium, cobalt, and nickel. AutoLOOP thus becomes a single digital solution for the collection, management, and optimization of the flow of materials from end-of-life vehicles.

AutoLOOP opens its doors to electric batteries

Designed with End-of-Life Vehicle Centers in mind, this platform offers an interface designed for immediate implementation, competitive collection processes, and pathways dedicated to the safety and recovery of critical raw materials. The extension to battery collection allows AutoLOOP to support automotive manufacturers in complying with the new European regulation on Extended Producer Responsibility, in force since August of last year, which obliges producers to also fund collection, ensure traceability, and actively contribute to battery recycling.
