Skoda has started mass production of the new Peaq at its main plant in Mladá Boleslav. This was announced by the Czech car manufacturer itself: the new model is produced on the same assembly line as the fully electric Elroq and Enyaq versions and the combustion engine Octavia. The watchword in this case is flexibility, as it allows for highly efficient production and enables the company to respond quickly to customer needs.

Skoda Peaq, production begins
The first responses from the market for the new Peaq are definitely positive. Before the end of July, therefore within two months of its launch, Skoda had already received almost 8,500 orders for its new SUV. In its top-of-the-line version, the new Peaq is equipped with the largest traction battery ever installed on a Skoda vehicle. With a gross capacity of 91 kWh, it guarantees a range of over 640 kilometers. It should be noted that the Czech company also produces the advanced battery systems for the Peaq at its new assembly plant in Mladá Boleslav.
Electrification in the spotlight
Together with the Epiq, produced in Pamplona, Spain, the Peaq doubles Skoda’s electric vehicle range in 2026. The Czech brand places great emphasis on electrification, and production is moving in this direction. Just consider that in the first half of 2026, almost 23% of the vehicles produced at the Czech plants of the car manufacturer were fully electric. “The production of four models, three of which are fully electric, on a single line clearly demonstrates the competence and versatility of our Mladá Boleslav team,” commented Andreas Dick, Skoda Auto Chief Production Officer.
