A complicated start
As anticipated on the eve of the 6 Hours of Imola, the first round of the 2026 championship, Cadillac had announced the absence of its official driver Alex Lynn, forced to remain sidelined following neck surgery. Even then, the American team had indicated the 32-year-old’s inability to recover in time for the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps scheduled for next week, with the V-Series #12 still set to appear with only the duo of Norman Nato and Will Stevens.

The substitute
While waiting for the Belgian round, the team has officially announced Lynn’s replacement: it is the 29-year-old Swiss Louis Deletraz, son of former F1 driver Jean-Louis and twice European Le Mans Series champion as well as 2023 WEC world champion in the LMP2 category. A resume that, combined with knowledge of the Spa-Francorchamps track, led Cadillac to bet on him for the upcoming weekend.

Not only Deletraz
On the occasion of the same race, there will also be three drivers sharing the wheel of the other V-Series, the #38, with the seasonal debut of Jack Aitken. In this case, the Englishman will join Sébastien Bourdais and Earl Bamber.
