XPENG has unveiled the new L03. This is the first debut of a vehicle from the Chinese company simultaneously in 64 markets, a clear signal of the tech brand’s international expansion strategy and a concrete step towards the vision of Physical AI. The L03 is described as the most global model made so far by XPENG, designed to cater to different driving needs and habits in real contexts, on a global scale.

The new XPENG L03
Positioned as a next-generation AI Coupe SUV, the L03 focuses on four pillars: sporty and elegant design, premium comfort, flexible practicality, and intelligent driving tuned for roads worldwide. Overall, the vehicle adopts the “Vital Flow” design philosophy led by former Ferrari exterior design chief JuanMa Lopez, featuring a wide-body bodywork, sporty profile, fastback silhouette, frameless doors, and a coefficient of drag of 0.228 at the top of its category.
Technology and powertrains
Inside, there is a 15.6″ central display, W-HUD technology, immersive ambient lighting, intelligent climate control, and lounge-style seats, complemented by 37 storage compartments, generous cargo volume, and a towing capacity of up to 1,500 kg. From a technological standpoint, the L03 is designed to meet global five-star safety standards and is available in two configurations: BEV (fully electric) and L03 Power X (REEV). The latter is based on XPENG’s Kunpeng range extension technology to offer greater flexibility and reduce charging anxiety.
New intelligent driving system
At the heart of this new Coupe SUV is the new NGP intelligent driving system VLA 2.0, which the Chinese company describes as a capability designed to understand real and complex driving scenarios more closely to how humans react. In this regard, XPENG plans to roll it out progressively in Europe starting from 2027. Last but not least, the model introduces the international version of the New Global Intelligent Cockpit Experience with XOS 6, with new features coming through future OTA updates.
Prices and range for Italy
ATFlow, the exclusive importer of the brand for the Italian market, will launch a national visibility plan and open the order book for the new XPENG L03 already from the end of July. The electric range will be available starting from 34,990 euros for the Standard Range RWD version, 37,990 euros for the Long Range RWD, 42,990 euros for the Long Range RWD Ultra, and 46,990 euros for the Long Range AWD Ultra Black Edition. The Power X (REEV) variant will be offered starting from 37,990 euros. The first deliveries, both of the BEV and Power X (REEV) variants, are expected by the end of 2026.
