Under the hood of the ID. Polo GTI beats a 166 kW (226 HP) heart, capable of taking it from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. However, the performance does not stop at speed: the car also aims for an exhilarating driving experience through curves, thanks to a setup designed to express stability and control. A key point is the power transfer to the front axle, with a maximum torque of 290 Nm available immediately, in the typical GTI style characterized by readiness and responsiveness.

In terms of equipment, the ID. Polo GTI focuses on driving pleasure with elements designed to truly “feel” the car: standard features include the electronically controlled front differential lock, the adaptive DCC chassis, 19″ alloy wheels, and IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights. The cabin also changes atmosphere by switching to a specific combination of colors and graphics when the traction and chassis systems enter dynamic mode via the press of a button.

Up to 424 km range
Finally, the part most suited to everyday life: the range. The 52 kWh battery allows the ID. Polo GTI a WLTP cycle driving range of up to 424 km, thus declaring daily use without range anxiety. The model also offers a trunk up to 1,240 liters, confirming the practical vocation of the small GTI. The world premiere took place at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, an occasion in which prices were also defined: in Germany, pre-sales will start in autumn with a starting price below 39,000 euros.
