Max does not seem satisfied
There is no doubt that Max Verstappen was among the most awaited drivers on Thursday in Miami, to understand his reaction to the long list of changes that the FIA has prepared for the F1 regulations – agreed with the teams, engine manufacturers, and with the contribution of the drivers – starting from this Grand Prix.
The comment from the four-time world champion was clear: “These changes are a tickle. I am hopeful that next year much bigger changes can be introduced”, and he added: “In the end, it is a very political sport. I think everyone did their best to do something, but it will not change the world. The situation is complicated, it is not yet what we need to really go full throttle. As I said, it is complicated to get everyone to agree.”
Verstappen: “No news on the future”
At the end of March in Japan Max Verstappen had evoked the possibility of retiring precisely because of the regulations: “Nothing new from this point of view“, Verstappen explained in statements collected by RacingNews365, adding: “I have been busy with other things in recent weeks, but I still have time. Lambiase’s departure? It has nothing to do with it, I have already explained how things went. We have a very honest and open relationship and everything went well. I wish him the best, there was no resentment. As a team we look forward, I think it is always important to innovate and improve and that is exactly what we are doing.”
