Very tough Miami GP for Hamilton

Hamilton damaged his SF-26 in a contact with Franco Colapinto during the first lap, moreover team principal Frederic Vasseur revealed that throughout the race the seven-time world champion had to manage the power unit temperature which tended to overheat.

“Hamilton had a lot of problems – said Vasseur to the microphone of Sky – it was a survival race until the end, it was really tough. He lost aerodynamic downforce and had to protect the power unit because it tended to overheat due to the temperature”.
