Ferrari had a difficult Sunday in Miami, ending with 14 points thanks to Charles Leclerc’s sixth place and Lewis Hamilton’s seventh.

Leclerc messed up at the end, while Hamilton had contact in the early stages with Franco Colapinto and had to manage a power unit temperature problem throughout the GP.
Team principal Frederic Vasseur is nevertheless convinced that it is obviously not yet time to lose heart and emphasized this to Sky: “Is it possible to fight for the Championship? Yes, we are only at the fourth race. Surely it is always possible in racing. Last year Verstappen was very far behind in Monza and yet at the last race the title was still to be decided.”

“We are missing one or two tenths if we look at the Qualifying sessions – added Vasseur – we have to keep developing aware that it will be like this all season. The goal is to bring new updates soon.”
