Leclerc, Ferrari engine ok but…
As reported in recent days, the power unit and chassis used at Monza by Charles Leclerc had been declared reusable by Ferrari.

Ferrari indeed does not want any unpleasant surprises and has reserved the right to complete further control procedures before making it available again among the power units at Charles Leclerc’s disposal.
The Monegasque will therefore be on track in Madrid with a unit among those already used, of a ‘older’ specification, that is updated with the ADUO 1.
Hamilton will still have the ADUO 2 engine
For the first time this season, the two Ferraris will be on track during the Madrid weekend with two different engine specifications. Charles Leclerc with the ADUO 1 power unit and Lewis Hamilton with the ADUO 2.

For the Monegasque, finally, the possibility is not excluded – from now until the end of the season – of ending up with a penalty, since he will most likely need another engine with the ADUO 2.
