The rivals contributed to rolling out the red carpet for a rider who certainly doesn’t need gifts to dictate the law even in precarious physical conditions, and the result is a World Championship completely reopened with five riders within 24 points.
The break will be fundamental for Marc Marquez to work on his right arm which, for obvious reasons, lacks strength since the nine-time world champion has not been able to ‘push it’ properly in terms of training.
Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi explained that during the stop Marquez and Ducati will find out if the champion will return at 100%: “Will Marquez return at 100? We will only find out in about a month at Silverstone – Tardozzi’s words to Sky – we know the current situation quite well because Marc and his friends are very open with us and we know everything.”
