Stellantis Solo: market share grows in Europe

In the first half of 2026 Stellantis registered 1,370,000 vehicles, marking +3.8% compared to 2025 and reaching a market share of 16.7%. Considering also the results of Leapmotor, volumes rise to an increase of +7.3% and the market share grows up to 17.4%, that is +0.3 percentage points compared to the same period of the previous year. A relevant fact is that Stellantis, with Leapmotor, is the only OEM among the top eight to increase its market share in the first semester.

Stellantis grows in Europe

The group also strengthens its leadership in Europe thanks to its strength in segments A and B. In Italy the best seller is Fiat Pandina, while in France Peugeot 208 stands out. In parallel, the growth of the Smart Car range (including Citroen C3 Aircross, Fiat Grande Panda and Opel Frontera) leads sales to more than double, consolidating Stellantis’ position especially in segment B. Overall, Fiat (+21.6%), Citroen (+8.3%), Opel (+7.4%) and Lancia (+5.2%) are the group’s brands that achieve the best performances, growing more than the market.

Italy third market for sales growth

On the geographic front, among the main countries Stellantis records solid results: Germany (+7.3%), UK (+4.7%), Italy (+4.5%), Belux (+1.5%) and Spain (+0.8%). Also shining are some more dynamic performances such as Austria (+31%), Poland (+10.1%) and Portugal (+5.2%). Completing the picture, it is worth mentioning the growth of Stellantis Pro One, which confirms itself in first place in the Light Commercial Vehicles market with a 28.7% share. Finally, it is noted that the group also leads the hybrid car segment with a market share of 17.3%.
