Stellantis has announced its intention to start a strategic partnership with Accenture, to accelerate the use of digital twin capabilities enabled by artificial intelligence, leveraging NVIDIA technologies, within its global production network. The goal announced by the Italian-French group is to explore the development of next-generation virtual manufacturing environments, powered by real-time data and artificial intelligence.

Stellantis together with Accenture
Speaking of technology and artificial intelligence, Stellantis uses high-fidelity virtual replicas of its plants to optimize operations in real time thanks to AI-generated analytics, accelerate industrialization processes by validating solutions before their physical implementation, improve quality through predictive monitoring, and reduce risks along the entire production chain. In this regard, the group has announced that the first implementations will be launched at selected sites, with the aim of assessing their impact in terms of value creation and scalability across the entire global industrial network, starting with pilot projects in North America planned by the end of the year.

“We are building the foundations for the next generation of manufacturing at Stellantis,” said Francesco Ciancia, Head of Manufacturing of the group. He added: “By combining digital twin, AI, and advanced simulation, we are rethinking how we design, manage, and continuously improve our production systems. This initiative is designed to work closely with our teams, strengthening their ability to anticipate problems, make faster decisions, and foster continuous improvement. Together with Accenture and NVIDIA, we are exploring new ways to make operations more scalable and intelligent.”
