Stellantis estimates growth in the second quarter

Stellantis has published consolidated delivery estimates for the second quarter of 2026, relating to the three months ended June 30. According to the announcement, deliveries stand at 1.6 million units, with a 10% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The overall trend was mainly supported by North America and expanded Europe. Conversely, some areas showed weaker trends, including the Middle East and Africa, penalized by the conflict in the region, and South America, particularly due to the weakness of the Argentine market.

Stellantis estimates growing

In North America, second-quarter deliveries increased by about 122,000 units (+38%). Most of the growth was driven by new or refreshed products and new powertrain offerings, including the Ram 1500 (light-duty) HEMI V8, the new Ram 1500 TRX SRT, and the refreshed Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee and Chrysler Pacifica. Additionally, volumes of the new Jeep Cherokee and Dodge Charger SIXPACK (in 2- and 4-door versions) contributed, along with preparation activities ahead of the already scheduled summer production breaks.

Good performance in North America and Europe

In expanded Europe, deliveries grew by about 39,000 units (+5%), supported by higher market volumes. Growth comes both from Stellantis and Leapmotor vehicles, with the most significant contribution from BEVs. For the group’s brands, the positive trend is mainly linked to recent product launches. Among models based on the Smart Car platform, Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross, Opel Frontera, and Fiat Grande Panda stand out, adding about 41,000 units (+51%), while in the C segment the new Jeep Compass contributes about 8,000 additional units.

B-SUV segment declining

Partly, the reduction of about 28,000 units in deliveries of previous-generation B-SUVs, such as Jeep Avenger, Fiat 600, Opel Mokka, and Peugeot 2008, and a significant decline in the Middle East and Africa (about -4,000 units, -3%) and South America (about -7,000, -3%) offset these gains. In the region, growth in Brazil (about 21,000 more units) was more than balanced by the decline especially in Argentina (about -25,000 units). Finally, in the Asia Pacific area, deliveries remained substantially in line with the previous year, stopping at 16,000 units.
