Skoda Epiq, the new urban electric SUV with 440 km range

The new Skoda Epiq concretely expands the successful electric vehicle range of the Czech brand, targeting the entry-level segment with a balance designed for everyday life. Compact, smart, and safe, the dimensions remain those of a city model, while the interior aims to offer superior comfort and livability, enhancing the idea of “intelligent space” typical of Skoda. In the base version, Epiq can reach price parity with its internal combustion counterpart, the Kamiq, in many markets. A key step to make electric more accessible to an even wider audience.

The new Skoda Epiq

In the overall design of the brand’s electric strategy, Epiq plays a fundamental role as an urban crossover SUV and helps to further expand the offer. Together with the future Peaq, it will double Skoda’s fully electric model range, bringing the experience to a level even closer to the daily needs of those seeking practicality, versatility, and more predictable costs compared to traditional combustion vehicles. A goal consistent with the broader vision of the Brand Group Core, which aims to strengthen the competitiveness of the Volkswagen Group precisely in an important segment such as high-volume compact electric cars.

Platform and range

Developed on the new MEB+ platform and designed for a new generation of compact electric vehicles, Epiq integrates technical features focused on efficiency and lightness. It is the first Skoda model built on MEB+ and also the brand’s first fully electric front-wheel-drive vehicle. The offer materializes in a range of about 440 kilometers, suitable for both urban trips and longer journeys, and in optimized charging management to reduce times. DC fast charging allows going from 10 to 80% in about 24 minutes, while the standard equipment includes an 11 kW AC socket.

Trunk and exclusive style

Alongside performance, Epiq strongly focuses on practicality and perceived quality: the 475-liter trunk is among the largest in the category and fits into the brand’s typical utility language. The design also introduces, for the first time on a Skoda production model, all the elements of the new Modern Solid style language, making the car recognizable and contemporary. Regarding charging and interaction, the new Epiq supports bidirectional charging and also offers one-pedal driving in B mode, with selectable regeneration, for more immediate and personalized control.
