Ferrari, Vasseur towards Canada
After the dull weekend in Miami, where the updates provided an improvement not comparable to that of McLaren and Red Bull, Ferrari arrives in Montreal with the awareness of having to do a better job from every point of view.

The Canadian track represents a complete circuit, where the right compromise is needed to best interpret the slow corners but also the fast section of the long straight before the finish line. It is especially this sector where the Red could suffer, on a track, moreover, not particularly favorable to Ferrari, at least in recent history: the last win dates back to 2018, the last pole to 2019, the last podium to 2022. Team principal Frederic Vasseur does not venture into predictions but wants to get the most out of the Canadian weekend, keeping an eye on weather that does not exclude rain and generally forecasts low temperatures.

“Canada is always a special appointment, with a great atmosphere both in the city and on the track, and we know how much support Ferrari has there, also from many fans of Italian origin.
From a sporting point of view, Montréal is never easy. The track is very demanding on brakes, traction is fundamental when exiting slow corners and chicanes, and this year the weather and low temperatures could add an additional level of complexity, especially with the Sprint format, which will give us little time to prepare“, this is the comment from the Frenchman.
