An F1-branded Monopoly
Monopoly takes to the track in a special edition dedicated to F1. The edition, available from July but pre-orderable from today, May 20, on Amazon, will allow players to choose their favorite team, and the tokens will be the cars, with which they will try to win as many races as possible.

The choice of the team will be important because each has a unique ability that activates when an F1 symbol is rolled on the dice. Speaking of dice, the game includes a white one and a red one, which are used when preparing to challenge an opponent for a property or a race. The player who gets the highest number will win, claiming the race. As in the real world, you can also upgrade the cars with enhancements, while every time a player passes Go they participate in the Monopoly Grand Prix, moving their driver’s helmet along the track in the center of the board. Here you can compete for the Drivers’ Championship and the Constructors’ Championship.

The game, designed for people aged 8 and up, is suitable for family evenings but also for a board game with friends. The maximum number of players is six, and the cost is 44.99 euros.

“F1 is one of the most iconic sports in the world and we are excited to bring the adrenaline of race day into an evening gaming experience,” said Billy Lagor, President of Hasbro’s Toys and Board Games division. “We have reinvented the classic Monopoly experience through the lens of F1: the circuits, the rivalries, the relentless pursuit of the podium to create something that feels authentic to both worlds: a game that both F1 fans and Monopoly fans can sit down to and immediately feel at home. The collaboration between our teams has produced something truly special, and I think fans of both sides will feel it the moment they open the box.”
