After Austral, Renault expands the E-Tech series range for the Italian market with two new models: Captur and Symbioz. These are full hybrid SUVs designed to meet different needs, while maintaining the same technological identity and the high driving pleasure typical of the French brand’s solutions. Specifically, Captur focuses on compactness and versatility, ideal for moving agilely even in urban contexts. Symbioz, on the other hand, opts for a more family-oriented dimension, offering more space, modularity, and comfort.

Full hybrid powertrain
At the center is the E-Tech full hybrid 160 HP powertrain developed by Horse Powertrain, with an intelligent multimode transmission that allows the driver not to have to recharge the vehicle. The system can travel up to 80% of the time in fully electric mode. The technology combines a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder high-pressure direct injection thermal engine in Atkinson cycle, two electric motors powered by a 1.4 kWh battery, and a new cooling system. Everything is managed by the intelligent multimode transmission with clutchless dog engagement and specific gear ratios. The Captur and Symbioz E-Tech series range is already available for orders.
