Red Bull in the top positions
First in FP1, third in FP2. Max Verstappen and Red Bull raised their heads on Friday at Spa-Francorchamps, after the resounding disappointment at Silverstone that had led the Dutchman to use very harsh critical words towards his own team. In Belgium, on a track that Verstappen loves and where he has achieved some of the most prestigious victories of his career, the RB22’s performances have returned to satisfy, at least partially, the four-time world champion.

“I don’t know how much more we can improve, given the obvious gap in FP2 – Verstappen remarked – this is a challenging track regarding energy management, since we are slower on the straights compared to our rivals, but the balance is quite good.
