Renault Group opens a new chapter in electric mobility by bringing together all its charging activities and related services under a single name: Plug Inn. With this choice, the Group intends to clarify and strengthen its offering ecosystem to support, on a large scale, the electric transition in Europe. The new name will come into effect from April for fast charging stations in France and, by the end of the year, for other services as well.

Renault enters a new electric era
Charging activities, previously managed by Mobilize Beyond Automotive, are now fully integrated into Renault Group’s commercial activities. The goal is twofold: to ensure greater strategic consistency and improve operational efficiency on one hand, and to offer customers more transparent communication on the other. Plug Inn was born, in fact, with the priority of simplifying every stage of the electric experience, making charging reliable, intuitive, and scalable.

Charging activities become “Plug Inn”
All charging solutions offered by the Renault Group brought together under Plug Inn include Plug Inn fast charge, the ultra-fast charging network, Plug Inn powerbox, a bidirectional charging solution combined with the V2G smart charging service, and Plug Inn charge pass, the single payment platform to access charging throughout Europe. Furthermore, from April, the Mobilize fast charge network in France becomes Plug Inn fast charge, maintaining an unchanged goal: to offer the best fast charging experience in the country.
