Chery Auto has officially inaugurated its European operations center and R&D institute in Spain, in Cornellà de Llobregat, near Barcelona. A milestone that represents a fundamental stage of the Chinese company’s expansion strategy in the European market and, at the same time, a decisive step in long-term localization projects. Chery Auto has chosen Barcelona
As the company’s first regional operations center abroad, the hub will serve as a single platform to coordinate Chery Auto’s main European activities. At this location, operational management, regulatory compliance, supply chain coordination, finance, and public affairs will be integrated. In parallel, the Spanish Research and Development Institute will bring together key expertise in distribution, technology, and industrial collaboration, improving market responsiveness and adaptability to regulatory requirements.
