The “Ecological Conversion 2030” project aligns with the industrial strategy of Mercedes‑Benz Vans, which is based on the new 100% electric native VLA platform that aims to make the mobility of goods and people increasingly sustainable. The inclusion of the first five vehicles from the Star brand in the Vatican fleet is therefore part of a logic of gradual but decisive transition. Two additional units are planned for a later date.
