Charles Leclerc secured a second golden place at the Belgian GP. The Ferrari driver, thanks to a favorable VSC, also led the race for a long time, but this time Antonelli’s chase was not stopped by a technical problem.

Thanks to the 18 points earned today, Leclerc closes in on Hamilton and Russell, but the gap to Antonelli obviously grows from 71 to 78 points.
“The shortcomings we expected we still had – Leclerc said to Sky microphones at the end of the race – honestly the start was fun from our car, we had a very strong energy deployment out of Eau Rouge and that allowed me to overtake both George and Max more on the straight, so this was nice. Then obviously I also had a bit of luck with the Virtual Safety Car.
