Favorable neutralization for the Reds
Charles Leclerc was third during the Belgian GP. Max Verstappen, second, was the first to fit the hard tire, forcing Andrea Kimi Antonelli’s pit stop to avoid the undercut by the Red Bull driver.
After the leading pair made their pit stops, Race Control opted for the Virtual Safety Car regime to allow the removal of some debris on the track.
Ferrari took advantage of the VSC to make a double pit stop and Charles Leclerc thus took the lead of the race at the Belgian GP as he gained a lot of time over Antonelli and Russell.

The Ferrari driver is therefore leader with a set of hard tires two laps fresher than the hards fitted by Antonelli.
