KIA, three new GT versions in the electric range

KIA expands its range of fully electric cars in Europe by introducing three new models: EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5. With these arrivals, the Korean brand brings the GT philosophy to new segments and to a wider audience, transforming the idea of performance into an everyday experience made of style, comfort, and practicality. The EV3 GT interprets the GT concept in the format of a compact “all-rounder” SUV, the EV4 GT is presented as a low-profile hatchback, and the EV5 GT expands the GT program in the C-SUV segment.

KIA expands the GT electric range

At the heart of this approach is the desire to combine dynamics and quality, maintaining the refinement, comfort, and functionality typical of the brand’s electric range. From a technical point of view, the three models share the GT character package based on dual-motor all-wheel drive, Virtual Gear Shift, Active Sound Design, dedicated interfaces, and distinctive design details. Driving is made more immediate and safe thanks to the presence of the GT mode, high-precision steering, electronically controlled suspension, and greater cornering stability.

Ideal driving dynamics

The driving experience is further enhanced by tools such as Launch Control, Performance Timer, and dedicated GT themes on the instrument cluster and central display, with specific screens for different driving modes. All elements that increase engagement and make the connection with the car more “personal.” The GT identity is also expressed through the visual language: neon green accents, exclusive GT semi-bucket sports seats, dedicated steering wheel, 20″ GT alloy wheels, and personalized digital interfaces for each model.

Elevated performance

Furthermore, the three vehicles integrate connected technologies designed to simplify life on board, including in-car payment via touchscreen display, on-demand services such as Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+, and over-the-air updates for infotainment and vehicle functions. In terms of performance, the EV3 GT delivers 215 kW (292 hp) and 468 Nm, with 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.7 seconds. The EV4 GT maintains the same power and torque values with 0-100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and a WLTP range of up to 505 km. The EV5 GT raises the bar in the C-SUV segment with 225 kW (306 hp) and 480 Nm, 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds, an 81.4 kWh battery, and a WLTP range of up to 476 km.
