F1, Hadjar also sidelined in Madrid
For the third consecutive weekend, Isack Hadjar will be a spectator. The Frenchman is still not able to face a race weekend and will also miss the race in Madrid.

Hadjar injured his left wrist, a problem that forced him to sit out in Zandvoort and Monza as well. Seeing a clear improvement in just seven days would have been very difficult, and it is no surprise that Hadjar will also be watching his colleagues in Spain. In his place, Red Bull confirms the setup of the last two weekends, with Liam Lawson in Red Bull and Yuki Tsunoda in Racing Bulls.

Red Bull’s statement on Hadjar
“After driving for Red Bull in Zandvoort and Monza, Liam will drive alongside Max also at the Spanish GP in Madrid“, reads the team’s statement.

“The decision was made while Isack’s recovery continues to progress positively. Although he is not ready to return to the wheel, he will be in Madrid to support the team. Everyone at Red Bull is looking forward to welcoming Isack back on track very soon“.
Lawson’s second GP in Red Bull in 2026 (his fourth overall) did not go as the New Zealander hoped: starting from the pit lane, he was unable to make up ground and finished in 14th place.
