Polestar Formula 2030, a concept that looks to the future

Polestar confirms its Formula 2030 concept car. The Swedish car manufacturer has announced that it does not want to take a step back: the concept car will be part of a broader commercial strategy. The car, we recall, was designed to showcase the future stylistic language of the brand, and also has the task of reaffirming the already established pillars of performance, technology, and sustainability. The company created it as part of a broader strategy for 2030, developed to support business growth and promote profitability.

Polestar Formula 2030 confirmed

In concrete terms, the new Formula 2030 anticipates some design elements that will be present in the new Polestar 2, whose launch is scheduled for 2027, and in the future Polestar 7. The design team, led by Philipp Romers, has created a bold evolution of the now established Scandinavian formal language, bringing exterior and interior design, material innovation, and sustainability to a new chapter. The Swedish brand has announced that the concept will be presented during an exclusive behind-the-scenes preview within an event dedicated to the Formula 2030 strategy at The Cube, Polestar’s headquarters in Gothenburg.

Towards the design of the future

“The design and identity of the Polestar brand are already extremely solid – commented Philipp Romers, Head of Design at Polestar – It was therefore clear that we needed a bold evolution, not a revolution, compared to what has been done so far. Formula 2030 perfectly embodies this vision, showing our future while respecting the distinctive elements of the brand, such as the familiar Dual Blade headlights, which ensure immediate recognition and a strong Polestar personality.”
