Furia Hadjar: “I destroyed the car and threw away easy points. It pisses me off”

Isack Hadjar is a driver who puts his heart into driving, and it shows. His emotionality in certain situations is evident and his tears after the mistake that took him out of the race at the 2025 Australian GP, in his F1 debut, during the reconnaissance lap, went around the world. On Sunday in Miami these emotions resurfaced for the young and talented Frenchman of Red Bull, but in the form of anger. During the sixth lap, in fact, while he was already in 15th position after starting from the pit lane, Hadjar hit the inside wall with the front left tire in the ‘S’ of turns 14-15 and broke the suspension arm, ending his GP against the wall.

Immediately the French driver unleashed his frustration, repeatedly pounding his fists on the steering wheel for the mistake just made. Hadjar’s fury lasted a few minutes and even with a relatively clear mind, when he faced the journalists for the usual interviews, the disappointment for the early knockout had not yet faded. The Red Bull driver, honestly, took all the blame for a mistake that – in his opinion – deprived him of a possible top-10 finish

Missed opportunity

“In the end I found the limit – commented #6 speaking with journalists present in Miami, with a bitter joke – throughout the weekend I was very close and in control, but I made a mistake. The outburst in the car? It’s tough. Just having destroyed the car makes me really angry – Hadjar concluded – and also I think there were easy points within reach, considering the car I had. So I threw it all away. I don’t remember the dynamics of the accident well, because it all happened in a moment. So I don’t have a very clear memory of what exactly happened. I just felt a very strong hit, I really didn’t expect it, and then the car broke. I ended up against the other wall and couldn’t stop it. In short, this shows how important it is to be focused. And I wasn’t“.
