Fabio Di Giannantonio: “How great it is to race at Mugello, an iconic and unique track. I have beautiful memories of this circuit, here I earned my first MotoGP pole position and last year I stood on the podium with my team, a special Sunday! We arrive at the Italian Grand Prix with a lot of confidence after the victory in Barcelona, my first with the team. It’s a pity I missed the test day, but after the crash in the race I needed to rest to recover for this race. At Mugello we come in the Top 3 in the championship, we have shown to be competitive and we are ready to confirm ourselves also in front of the home crowd, which will give us that extra energy that motivates us even more“.

Franco Morbidelli: “I am happy to race at Mugello, my second home race this year after Brazil. The Italian Grand Prix is always special and this track is unique, with the chicanes, ups and downs and high speed. Then there are the fans who give us extra energy! At Mugello, we aim to confirm all the positive things both from the weekend in Barcelona with the tests and from the last few weeks in general. Confidence is coming back, we have shown to have good speed and I want to confirm it again this weekend. We can’t wait to get on track to see how it will go, but we remain focused”.
