VR46 in Thailand for a start on the right foot
Everything is ready in Buriram, Thailand, for the MotoGP debut. Below are the words of the VR46 team riders Fabio Di Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli, who will be hunting for heavy points and prestigious results after encouraging test sessions.

Fabio Di Giannantonio: “After five days of winter testing, the season finally begins. We return to the track for the first race weekend and I am very happy to start from the Thailand Grand Prix. We arrive at the first weekend of the year with many clear ideas, we feel confident and great with the team. The tests were very positive, perhaps the hardest of my career, but I am very happy with how they went and the solutions we tried. We have a great team and we have the best bike, I am fully convinced that we can do a great job with the package we have. The goal of the weekend will be to have fun, push, and do a great job.”
Franco Morbidelli: “I am very happy to start the season again and doing it in Thailand will be nice. We finished the winter tests here, where we understood many things about the new bike. In general, the pre-season was very positive and I am ready for the start of 2026. We feel competitive for this first race weekend, we can have our chance. We have shown that we are fast, we are there. The goal will be to confirm the good feelings from the tests during the weekend as well. We are ready.”
