Pecco must redeem 2025
After eight seasons as a Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia will leave the Borgo Panigale manufacturer, continuing his career as a representative of Italian bikes since Pecco is expected at Aprilia to form an all-Italian team together with Marco Bezzecchi.

Bagnaia experienced a very difficult season in 2025 and fifth place in the Riders’ standings perfectly describes how much Pecco was in crisis to the point of not keeping pace with riders like Pedro Acosta despite the enormous difference in performance between the Ducati and the KTM.

The GP26, however, seems to be a bike much more suited to Bagnaia judging by the winter tests and therefore being able to race without pressure could give us back a very competitive Bagnaia ready to redeem a 2025 that was too bad to be true: “We leave behind a good pre-season, we worked well, completed all the tests and we will take to the track for the GP with a good base – said Bagnaia ahead of the Buriram weekend – I have good feelings while riding, there is a nice atmosphere and the right motivation to face the season. The first race is always special, and in general, this track has always adapted well to the characteristics of the Desmosedici GP“.
