Dacia further enriches its offer of affordable electrified cars with a new important piece: the arrival of the full hybrid 155 powertrain on the Sandero Stepway. A step forward that therefore strengthens the strategy of the Romanian brand and brings electrification where it really matters: costs, simplicity, and technology capable of reducing consumption and emissions without sacrificing practicality. The novelty also represents a natural evolution of a range already oriented towards efficiency, with the possibility to choose between various high-performing and optimized powertrains.

Dacia Sandero Stepway Hybrid 155
The Hybrid 155 powertrain is orderable from today only for the Dacia Sandero Stepway at all brand dealerships in Italy, while it will be available in the coming weeks also on the Sandero Streetway. With this debut, Sandero Stepway completes an already efficient engine range, which includes the TCe110 engine and the Eco-G 120 and Eco-G 120 auto powertrains. The latter, moreover, is an absolute novelty for Dacia and the European car market, thanks to the integration of LPG and automatic transmission.
Prices and powertrain
From a technical point of view, the Hybrid 155 combines a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with 109 HP, two electric motors (one with 49 HP and a high-voltage starter/generator), a 1.4 kWh (230 V) battery, and an electrified automatic transmission without a clutch. The result translates into intelligent power and regeneration management: regenerative braking, supported by the high energy recovery capacity of the battery and the efficiency of the transmission, allows driving in the city up to 80% of the time in 100% electric mode, with starts systematically occurring in 100% electric mode. Thanks to this architecture, the Sandero Stepway Hybrid 155 declares overall consumption between 4.2 and 4.4 l/100 km. The Expression and Extreme trims have prices of 20,800 and 21,900 euros respectively.
