Ferrari races at home in Imola
Everything is ready in Imola for the 6-hour race that will kick off the 2026 WEC championship. Ferrari will try to defend the titles won in 2025, although the competition is fierce starting with Toyota, which will be on track with a new Hypercar.

In the Prologue the 499P achieved a triple win, but Ferrari’s number one at the pit wall Antonello Coletta does not want to give too much weight to Tuesday’s results: “The Prologue day went as planned, allowing us to complete the scheduled work, mainly in wet or damp track conditions, thus also being able to test the new Wet tires. Without a doubt, we are pleased to have finished both sessions with the 499P in the top three positions, but we know that during the Prologue neither we nor the other teams worked to seek the best performance, instead prioritizing the setup work of the cars. For the first time, the FIA WEC starts from Italy with a 6 Hours race held on a track closely linked to Ferrari’s history: this makes us very happy and we will try our best to make the Tifosi who come to support the Prancing Horse happy, expected in large numbers in the stands of Imola.”
