Alex, Marc and the Ducati crisis
During a Momoven event, Alex Marquez commented on the difficulties of this season’s start: “The current situation of Ducati has nothing to do with Marc’s injury. Aprilia has taken a step forward compared to Ducati this year and is achieving better results. How long will it last? We don’t know.”
Alex then continued: “I think Marc is managing the points intelligently. Surely he has made more mistakes than he would have liked, but 50 points to recover is not that many. We need to understand the situation.”

Alex Marquez, KTM on the horizon
It is no secret that all market rumors place Alex Marquez at KTM for 2027 – as a replacement for Pedro Acosta. Announcements are still missing, but the Spaniard was asked for an opinion on the Austrian brand: “Last year KTM did not live up to expectations due to the financial crisis. This year they have returned to the level that KTM deserves: in 2025 they said they were the second-best bike, now they have reached it. The missing announcements? The situation is stalled due to negotiations between the MSMA and MotoGP. No manufacturer has signed and at the moment there is no MotoGP 2027. I believe the agreement is only verbal at the moment. KTM? I have already worn orange in Moto2.”
