She is fast, determined, and not only excited by the roar of the circuit. For this reason, Sophia Flörsch, test driver and development driver for the newly established Opel GSE Formula E Team, received her new Mokka GSE. From now on, the electric sporty SUV from the Blitz brand becomes her daily companion, perfect for both short trips and longer journeys. In Rüsselsheim am Main, Rebecca Reinermann, Vice President of Opel Marketing, handed over the car to her, emphasizing how the GSE philosophy combines emotion, speed, and “goosebumps.”

A Mokka GSE for Sophia Flörsch
According to Reinermann, the bond between Sophia and the car is natural. As a test driver, she pushes the new Opel Formula E to the limit on the track, and the same spirit is found in the Mokka GSE. “Opel GSE stands for goosebumps, speed, and electrifying emotions,” she explained, highlighting that the fastest production electric Opel is designed to ignite the heart even in everyday driving, not just during tests. Flörsch, for her part, showed enthusiasm for the immediate character of the model: she loves cars that promise high performance “at first glance.” And in the Mokka GSE, she sees a mix of striking design and real energy, expressed by 281 hp and 345 Nm of torque.
Opel focuses on electrifying performance
In detail, the new Opel Mokka GSE takes driving pleasure to another level in the compact SUV segment. With a maximum power of 207 kW (281 hp) and immediate torque of 345 Nm, it accelerates promptly like a sports car. In terms of performance, it can reach 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds from a standstill and a top speed of 200 km/h, becoming so far the fastest among production electric Opels. This is also thanks to refined technology inspired by the rally variant: from the Torsen multi-plate limited-slip differential to a specific chassis and suspension, as well as the fact that the high-voltage components come from the Mokka GSE Rally platform.
