Morbidelli, curious penalty in French GP
Franco Morbidelli has received a penalty to be served at the Le Mans event. A mild and curious sanction, because the Friday of #21 will start five minutes late compared to all the others.

In Q1 of the Spanish GP, the Ducati of Morbido suddenly lost oil, forcing the Italian-Brazilian to be eliminated from the second part of Qualifying. The VR46 team rider, however, did not stop the bike in the run-off area, but continued to ride to the pits, thus bringing oil onto the track despite having noticed the technical problem.

The Jerez stewards deemed Morbidelli’s behavior irresponsible, as it could have caused serious accidents, with riders looking for the lap that was worth Q2 on an already damp track.
