Follow live the 24h Nurburgring 2026
Finally, here we are: the event that Max Verstappen has been waiting for all year – and, with him, many racing fans around the world – has arrived. Today takes place the 24 Hours of Nurburgring 2026 which, as tradition dictates, is held on the historic and unmistakable layout of the Nordschleife, the tricky and unique “north loop” that has written indelible (and also painful) pages in the history of motorsport. On the thrilling ups and downs of a track over 20km long, not coincidentally called the “Green Hell” – due to the dangers faced by drivers who dare to challenge it, and certainly also because of the surrounding forest – the 54th edition of one of the most important endurance marathons on the GT calendar is held.

Eyes on Max Verstappen’s Mercedes
And then there is Max Verstappen: not by chance, this year’s edition is already a record due to the large crowd attracted by the challenge of the Dutchman from Red Bull, which forced the organizers, for the first time in history, to limit access to the circuit. The Dutch driver, at the wheel of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 number 3 (obviously) fielded by the team bearing his own name, shared with teammates Jules Gounon, Daniel Juncadella and Lucas Auer, starts from fourth on the grid after yesterday’s spectacular qualifying, behind the two Lamborghini Huracan GT3s of the Red Bull ABT team and the Audi R8 GT3 of the now “usual” rival Christopher Haase.

The full live streaming of the 24h Nurburgring
Following the event live via streaming? It couldn’t be easier. The race is in fact broadcast live in full, completely free with commentary in English and German, on the official YouTube channel of the 24h of Nurburgring. It starts with the formation lap at 14:40, with the green flag expected around 15:00 which will start the 24 hours of racing: here is the full schedule with detailed times.
The official live stream of the “TV direction” is then accompanied by the possibility to also enjoy simultaneously the on-board footage from some of the cars in the race, including obviously the Mercedes-AMG GT3 of the Verstappen.com Racing team.
