From a technological and user experience standpoint, Volvo has renewed the interface with a more intuitive UX: settings and controls have been redesigned to put the most useful functions at your fingertips, with a customizable content bar that allows you to organize shortcuts and predictive functions based on the driver’s preferences.

Among the most practical innovations is the preparation for the Vehicle-to-Load functionality (V2L), which transforms the EX30 into a real power bank: with a dedicated adapter, the car can provide energy to other electrical devices, making the vehicle useful even outside of road use. Volvo has announced that V2L and UX improvements will be distributed via over-the-air software updates during the summer, and many of the new features will also be made available for free to current EX30 owners.

The Black Edition expands to now include “Black” interiors and offers three new body colors: Onyx Black, Vapour Grey, and Crystal White.
