And it does so through concrete collaborations with local institutions and organizations aimed at promoting training and social reintegration. As part of this strategy, the company has now supported the Cisco Networking Academy Program, promosso da Universo Cooperativa Sociale Onlus in partnership with Cisco Systems, intended for female inmates of the Rebibbia Penitentiary Institute.

Renault in favor of inclusion
In particular, twelve participants followed a structured and highly qualifying training path, successfully passing 25 exams and completing practical laboratory tests. The result opens access for them to the CCNA specialist path, expanding significant employment prospects in a sector with high demand for technical skills. Just over a week ago, Renault Group Italy, represented by HR Director Giuseppe Mantegna, took part in the conference “Rome at work, from imprisonment to inclusion: beyond barriers”, promoted by the HRC Community Observatory and Roma Capitale.

Training and reintegration projects
“Each of us can be, every day, an ambassador for inclusion. It is a commitment that we have been carrying forward with determination for years at Renault Group. For this reason, in 2024 we chose to support in Italy two important training programs dedicated to the female inmates of the Rebibbia Penitentiary Institute. Today we are here to testify to the value of an operational alliance with institutions and prison management, fundamental for promoting training and accompanying inmates towards a gradual and conscious entry into the world of work”, Mantegna explained.
