Volkswagen has launched pre-sales of the new ID. Polo with 37 kWh battery, making the entry-level version immediately available. The Trend model starts at 24,995 euros, a threshold designed to target those looking for an urban electric car without giving up low running costs. In the range, the Life and Style trims combined with the 37 kWh battery are available starting from 29,195 euros. The variant with the larger 52 kWh battery will arrive a few weeks later as an additional option for those who want more range.

The new ID. Polo is part of the Volkswagen Group’s “family” of urban electric cars and the initial results confirm public interest: in a few weeks, over 70,000 orders have been registered, of which 25,000 are attributable to the ID. Polo itself. From the user experience perspective, the 37 kWh battery was designed for price-conscious customers: lower initial expenses, potential advantages on insurance costs, and a setup oriented towards efficiency.
From 10 to 80% in 23 minutes
DC fast charging allows going from 10 to 80% in about 23 minutes up to 90 kW, making this car suitable for commuting and typically urban routes. The net capacity of the 37 kWh battery guarantees a range of up to 334 km in the WLTP cycle. Additionally, versions with power outputs of 85 kW (116 hp) and 99 kW (135 hp) are available on order with the same indicated charging time. In the base version, the ID. Polo also offers high-quality interiors as standard, large displays with intuitive usage logic, and a spacious trunk, directly focusing on practicality for everyday use.
