Volkswagen introduces the new ID. Cross. A world premiere dedicated to those looking for a 100% electric compact SUV with a premium identity. The design combines bold proportions and an aesthetic defined as “timeless”, conveying solidity and build quality, thanks to refined finishes and a visual setup that aims straight at the small and compact car segment. Making this operation even more interesting is the starting price of 27,995 euros, with the ambition to set new standards in terms of comfort, equipment, and perceived value.

The new Volkswagen ID. Cross debuts
On board, the ID. Cross plays the wellness card. Indeed, we find welcoming interiors designed for real life, with five seats and high seating comfort. The fabric-covered surfaces also help create a pleasant atmosphere, while the experience can be elevated with options such as a premium audio system and massage seats, designed to turn even the most ordinary journeys into more relaxing moments. All supported by the Innovision infotainment, designed to be intuitive and rich in network functions, in line with the “smart” evolution typical of high-end models.
Up to 427 km of range
Moving on to technology and performance, the new ID. Cross can be ordered on request with Connected Travel Assist, equipped with automatic traffic light detection and new parking functions, as well as the adoption of adaptive DCC suspension. In terms of range and power, the vehicle will be available with three power levels (85 kW, 99 kW, and 155 kW) and two battery sizes (37 kWh and 52 kWh net), declaring a WLTP range of up to 427 kilometers. For travelers, fast charging also allows a charge from 10 to 80% in about 23 minutes on direct current.

Prices from under 28,000 euros
The versatility of the new ID. Cross is further enhanced by the vehicle-to-load function (V2L) for charging devices and other appliances, with a power of up to 3.6 kW. For example, those who bring their e-bike for a weekend getaway, thanks to the tow hook with a load capacity of 75 kg, can recharge it using a Volkswagen Accessories Schuko adapter (optional), connecting it externally via the SUV’s charging socket. Finally, the new electric SUV from the German manufacturer, with its 52 kWh battery, is capable of towing trailers with a gross weight up to 1,200 kg. And while the range will be completed over time, pre-sales in Germany are already underway.
