F1 Monaco, Verstappen immediately out
The Monaco GP lost one of its most anticipated protagonists after just a few meters. Max Verstappen, in fact, remained stuck on the starting grid when the lights went out. Only after a few seconds did the four-time world champion manage to restart his Red Bull, but serious power unit problems forced him to retire once he reached the pit lane.

Verstappen’s words
“The situation wasn’t good even before the start. When the lights came on, it became terrible“, this was the comment of the four-time world champion to Sky Sport F1.
“After that, the engine practically shut down, and on the next straight, when I regained power, there was a horrible noise, so we decided to retire the car. It was truly impossible to continue the race, it was absolutely pointless“.

Problems also for Hadjar
It is certainly not the first problem for the Red Bull-Ford power unit, which has caused several retirements for both Verstappen and Hadjar this season. The Frenchman himself is fighting to defend P4, complaining a lot about the engine.
