An engine for the comeback?
Ferrari is the second force after three races, in the standings, and is well aware that a significant part of the gap separating it from Mercedes depends on the power unit. The advantage of the Silver Arrows is significant, so much so that both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton spoke openly about it on the sidelines of Suzuka.
In Maranello, work is underway on upgrading the current power unit, but to see the new engine on track, we will have to wait until summer. When a third of the championship will already be behind us.

Ferrari, a new ICE in July?
Colleagues from AutoRacer.it explained that the ‘vitaminized’ engine is likely to be expected no earlier than the month of July and that therefore the forecasts for Barcelona (14-16 June) risk having been too optimistic.
Between Montreal and Barcelona, Ferrari will fit the second power unit of the season, but it will be a version identical to the one currently in use. The new ICE being worked on in Maranello could take to the track in one of the three races scheduled for July (Silverstone on the 5th, Spa on the 19th and Hungaroring on the 26th), between the 9° and 11° GP of the season.
In the meeting scheduled for tomorrow between the FIA, teams, and engine manufacturers, the topic of ADUO will also finally be discussed: will there be a green light after Miami or after Monaco?
